Background & Leadership
Jim Beatty is a seasoned healthcare executive with a distinguished 25-year career in both investor-owned and not-for-profit health systems. As a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, Jim has driven strategic growth and development across complex healthcare markets. Most recently, he served as MultiCare’s East Pierce Market Leader and President of Good Samaritan Hospital, where he championed process improvements, led economic growth initiatives, and forged partnerships that enhanced community health and business development.

Prior to his healthcare career, Jim was a Marine Corps aviator, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. That disciplined, mission-driven approach continues to shape his leadership today. He holds a degree in mathematics from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin—credentials that reinforce his deep analytical skills and strategic vision.

After 18 years as a business owner, leading the Puyallup Sumner Chamber of Commerce, and serving as a Board Director for the Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber, my years of advocacy and economic development work have made one truth crystal clear: 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 = 𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗘𝗬.

Too often, incredible projects stall—not from lack of vision, but because navigating permitting and development is slow, unclear, and full of conflicting steps.

I co-founded NorthStar Development Partners, LLC to be the creative collaborator who helps clients move forward faster—leveraging proven relationships with government officials, years of advocacy, and a knack for finding solutions that work for everyone at the table.

Our role is part strategist, part connector, part problem-solver—removing barriers, aligning stakeholders, and creating the kind of momentum that transforms a “𝘮𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘢𝘺” project into a “𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹.”

I’m a faith-forward woman and passionate about equipping female leaders with the tools to step boldly into their calling. Through The Bible Bot Society’s Leadership Program, “Anchored Series”, I have recently created a platform, community and program for female entrepreneurs by blending Biblical leadership lessons with practical AI tools, helping them scale their businesses with confidence, purpose, and clarity.

I authored the "AI Cheerleader" book and brand, inspired by my own AI Journey and my time as a San Francisco 49ers Cheerleader where I was part of a team that won two Super Bowls from 1987 - 1991.

I founded Gravel to Gold Ventures, a Marketing Intelligence Firm and Saas Agency dedicated to helping businesses grow smarter, faster.

🎶 I love country and worship music, riding dirt bikes, and golfing---and I find inspiration and balance when I can spend time at our Cle Elum cabin.
