Tapestry Singers ~ Our Story

The TAPESTRY SINGERS is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the vocal arts in Pierce County. The TAPESTRY SINGERS perform, by request, at local functions and present three concerts during the year.
Aside from performing and promoting the enjoyment of vocal music in the local community, the TAPESTRY SINGERS maintains a community service focus. Concerts are regularly scheduled at local retirement and nursing homes and a Benefit Concert is coordinated with other local performing groups, where all proceeds are given to the Puyallup Valley Food Bank.
TAPESTRY SINGERS recruit twice each year for new members usually late August/September and early January. Practice is held weekly at 7:00 - 9:00 pm, on Wednesday evenings at the Puyallup United Methodist Church, 1919 W. Pioneer Ave. in Puyallup.
Rehearsals begin in September, running weekly through May, with the exception of a few weeks off following the Christmas Concert.
