I would like to say welcome to some new members that have joined our cause because they also feel as we do that no child should endure the loss of a meal over a -37 cent deficit on their lunch accounts. We did receive a donation towards our 501c3 financial requirement of $850.We are trying to get this funded ASAP so we can get our letter and start writing grants. We need help getting the word out. We are hoping that by no later than April we can have our 501c3 paperwork sent to the IRS so that by the end of the 2016 calendar year we can be a tax deductible charity. While my goal to raise money to become a 501c3 ($850) has not changed, as well as the fact that we now have enough people involved that if everyone donated $1.55 we could send out the paperwork Monday, I respect that sometimes the cute has to be there.
