White House Executive Order Signals Major Tailwinds for eVTOL/hVTOL Investment
On June 6, 2025, the White House issued a sweeping Executive Order to accelerate deployment of electric and hybrid vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL/hVTOL) aircraft. The new Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing Integration Pilot Program (eIPP) sets the stage for national scale.
Alpine Vertical is raising $20M to fund its hVTOL aircraft platform through profitability by 2028.* They are well positioned to benefit from this mandate.
• Mandates at least 5 real-world pilot projects—cargo, medevac, rural access, and urban air mobility

• Streamlines FAA approval timelines for BVLOS and advanced air operations

• Prioritizes domestic manufacturing, with federal procurement support

• Aligns with DoT and FAA to safely integrate eVTOLs into the National Airspace System

• Establishes clear deadlines—project selection by Dec 2025, operations by early 2026
This creates a unique window to back U.S. platforms with flight-ready tech, IP defensibility, and a pathway to certification.
