New round of lotion testing. Creamy and rich, though not as fluffy as round #2.
We have achieved a less waxy feel to the lotion. We love that it absorbs quickly.
Sunflower oil has been removed in honor of KISS. So, oils are kokum butter and olive oil.
Would you prefer sunflower oil stay or do you prefer that we keep it simple with just the two oils?
Sorry, removing olive oil is not an option.

Sample #2 - EUREKA!! (Photo 1)
Creamy, thick and holding together beautiful. Not perfect yet but we are on the road.
There is a bit of a waxy feel that I hope to lessen. But if not, it's still a rich, occlusive cream that could be besties with dry, cracked skin.

I followed manufacturers guidelines and end up with cloudy water. 😬 I then threw out directions and went to instinct. It thickened but still separated.
More to come.
Ingredients include olive oil, sunflower and kokum butter. I can't remove olive but should I remove sunflower? Would appreciate input, so leave your thoughts below.

Bringing some new options in Plain Jane .
We have had requests for milled soap for a few years. Milling takes extra work, so thus far I have avoided offering milled soaps.
Milling means that soap is shredded, cooked down to a more liquid state. It is then molded, cut and cured a second time.
The goal with milled soaps is to create a milder, more emollient bar of soap.
On-site you will find Plain Jane and milled Plain Jane bars available.

Plain Jane.
We tried to follow a guru and messed with the formula. Lesson learned. We repent and return to our tried and true formulation.
🤔 didn't Coke have a similar learning experience or was it Pepsi? I don't drink either so here is to water who stays pure to its original form.
