Fun way to frame your Polaroids! We collaborated with the client and paired these Polaroids with bright green as the frame around them. The neutral tones of the photos make a great pair with colors.
Final touches like conservation materials and museum glass make sure these Polaroids stay protected for decades to come!

Another yakisugi stunner! Our client, an avid collector of vintage movie posters, snagged this rare original release Jaws poster for an Italian cinema.

We rounded the corners to echo the “Los Squalo” font, and put red spacers to add that little bit of danger to the piece! Museum Optium plexiglass gives it a super clear, non-glare look.

Yakisugi is a traditional Japanese finish where the wood is charred, and then multiple coats of oil is applied. It’s a naturally textured finish, resistant to rot and insects. We think it’s one of the most gorgeous natural finishes!

We were so honored to work on a celebratory gift for the completion of Lulubug’s Garden first season! Lulubug’s Garden is a show aimed at helping children recognize, understand, and respond to their emotions in a healthy way.

Produced locally in Provo, the team partners with the Huntsman Mental Health Foundation to create stories to help children with their emotional well-being.

Super nice people, a very well-produced show, and I believe they are doing such important work.

A map-loving client recently acquired these 16th century maps of the Middle East and Ilha Formosa (modern day Taiwan).

One of the maps was double-sided, and we designed the frame so the back is visible too.
We made the custom frames with walnut and a 22kt gilded face for a warm and simple, yet elevated look.
Conservation cotton-rag mats and museum glass finish off the protective qualities of this frame project.

It was such a joy working in these pieces and discovering how the world was seen back in time.

A beautifully finished yakisugi frame for Wavetronix’s library in Springville, featuring a superbly detailed pen drawing of the building’s facade by 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝘁.

Carefully charred pine, finished with layers of oil and hand-polished to a slight sheen. We added a gilded lip to accentuate the gold areas in the drawing.

I went to their headquarters when it was still under construction. The finished space is so intentional and beautiful!

“This is the most accurate copy of the Declaration of Independence ever made. It very closely follows the Library of Congress’s copy of the first printing, known as the Dunlap Broadside. The antique laid paper is made by hand and bears the beautiful J Honig & Zoonen crown and post horn watermark. We even used period appropriate fiber—flax and h**p. Then we re-made the type and set it, letter by letter, and space by space, to match the original. We carefully blended inks to get the beautiful black commonly used in the 1700s. Finally, we printed it by hand, one copy at a time. ”

We teamed up with Rob at to frame absolutely gorgeous copies of the Declaration of Independence. We designed the cherry frame to be reminiscent of the Colonial American aesthetic, paired with museum rag matboard, 99% UV plexiglass, and a raised float mount.

A diptych by we were blessed to frame and hang. We wanted to unify the two parts with frame dimensions that were thinner towards the center, a technique we saw at a museum display some years back.
Finished with 22kt gold that shows some beautiful flecking, and Museum Optium acrylic that is light, non-reflective, UV protective, AND anti-shatter.
