Special thanks to composer John Psathas for making the trip to BYU, to Mike Sammons at UofU for making it happen, and for Psathas’ work with UofU, BYU, UVU, USU, and SUU over the last 4 days. Reminder: tonight at 7:30pm in Libby Gardner Hall at UofU is our collaborative concert with all 5 programs representing Psathas’ works. It will be a unique show!

Thanks to all those that attended our March 4th Classical Percussion concert. It was one for the history books. What an educational and inspiring visit yesterday from Al Otte and John Lane. If you’ve not checked out their work, it is moving, brave, and fulfilling as consumers in arts communities. Many thanks to all those that came to support their performance.

Please join us in our incredible Concert Hall for our semester Classical Percussion concert on Wednesday, March 4th. It will feature student soloists on the Mancini Suite for Drumset and the Golovko Ukrainian Marimba Concerto. So much other awesome music too.

Classical Percussion: BYU Percussion Ensemble and Tangents Quartet Join us for an evening of percussion ensemble repertoire ranging from the classics within the genre to new arrangements and groundbreaking compositions.

We had three recitals this semester, an unusually high number for the fall. Big congratulations to Clay Battles, Trevor Kroff, and Ella Packard on outstanding performances.

BYU percussion studio fall 2025! (Minus a few in student teaching, etc) AWESOME group. It’s going to be a good year.
