I'm already in Utah and have never been skiing but I respect anyone that does it, and chooses to be outside when it's cold. I like to imagine how much fun you're having out there, from inside my house.

We listened to 3 middle grade, family friendly audiobooks together in February and explored some interesting themes.

📚 Hello, Universe by Erin Entrada Kelly
📚 Penny From Heaven by Jennifer L. Holm

Each of these books were enjoyed and brought up conversations that felt really important and relevant in our homeschool. We discussed grief, loss, friendship, prejudice, inclusion, generational trauma, self identity, kindness, and so much more, thanks to these Newbery medal winners. They each introduced complex themes in just the right way for us at the stage we're at with our 4th and 7th grader and left us with lots to think and talk about.

21 years of him driving me around, and me cutting his hair. Our marriage can now legally drink in the US! 🎉
