Do you feel a knot in your stomach when you hear the garage door open or their car pull into the driveway? Do you find yourself walking on eggshells, keeping your opinions to yourself, or feeling increasingly isolated from the people you love?
These aren’t just “relationship problems.” They can be warning signs of emotional or psychological abuse. Abuse isn’t always loud or obvious—it often shows up in subtle ways that slowly make you question yourself, your voice, and your sense of safety.
You don’t have to figure it out alone. If this resonates with you, therapy can help you gain clarity, rebuild confidence, and learn what healthy relationships look like. Reach out today to schedule a session—we’re here to help. ❤️
Sometimes abuse doesn’t look like yelling, bruises, or obvious control.
Sometimes it sounds like, “You’re too sensitive,” “I’m only doing this because I love you,” or “No one else would put up with you.”
Coercion is often subtle. It can look like pressure, guilt, manipulation, isolation, or making you question your own reality until you no longer trust yourself. That’s what makes it so confusing. Many people don’t realize they’re experiencing emotional abuse because it’s been normalized over time.
If this resonates with you, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy can help you understand what’s happening, rebuild trust in yourself, and create a path toward healing.
If you’re wondering, “Could this be me?” trust that question enough to explore it. Reach out to schedule a session—we’d be honored to support you.
