We're back in the saddle and creating again.

Just finished listening to the audio book, "PREQUEL, An American Fight Against Fascism," by Rachel Maddow.

To any inclined to ask "What did you think?" I say, "It was worthwhile. Worth the time, and worth the attention."

The group I serve with at the Food and Care Coalition is putting together Christmas stockings for the unhoused.
We're asking for things like socks, gloves, hand warmers, McDonald's gift cards, candy canes, hygiene items, and whatever else might fit; as well as stockings to put the donations in.
The organizer, Helen Card, can also accept monetary donations via Venmo.
Our [minimum] goal is to assemble 80 stockings.

We know things can be tight these days. More and more, we're seeing reports of people being laid off from their jobs. We know how disheartening that can be.
