After we finish the base coats we begin our finish coats and shaping our corners!
It’s so fun taking a project through design, renderings, fabrication and finally to install! We still have some last touches to sew this one up but finished pictures coming soon!!
Custom built curved planter boxes (150 individual mitered pieces cut for the rounded corners), tiled inset with 1/16 clearance on either side for water feature, microcement planters, limestone walls, 12” wide engineered hardwood flooring and an accent ceiling. This one was challenging for sure but I alway love a challenge 😃 more photos to come!

Micro-cement can be applied over any stable surface and maintain a crack free guarantee. This means we can apply it directly over your existing tile and grout and get you a brand new look without any demolition work.
The product we use isn’t a cheap DIY product but has many steps that allow us provide the crack free and waterproof guarantee. It is a more expensive option than tile but when we apply it directly over the existing shower it becomes a cheaper alternative to completely gutting and replacing the shower. On top of that, you won’t have a single grout line to worry about cleaning. It’s completely seamless.

We are officially certified in Microcement work! What is it? How does it differ from Venetian Plaster or even concrete work? McKennen can answer all these questions. It is a high priced custom product that has been wanted by many, but is still making its way to the US and it’s basically impossible to find someone to install it in Utah until now!
