Crashing Racks Taxidermy

Here’s a buck my dad and I found as a dead head when I was a kid checking trail cameras. I colored the horns and mounted him with a cape I tanned. Love how it turned out.

For years now I’ve been wanting to start tanning hides and fur. Tanning is such an art especially learning to be proficient with a shaving machine. I’m excited to slowly start transitioning my shop to provide everything in-house. That means faster turn around time for my clients and better quality control. Here’s a pic of a coyote pelt I just finished up.

Stud 7x6. Client needed a new cape and luckily had a nice spare that complimented this bull nicely.
