Candace French Design is a workshop space specializing in fashion design classes for youth, teens and adults located on the Eastside of Providence, R.I.
The workshop is a place for aspiring designers; to create fashion, to explore style, to discover fundamentals of garment design, to invent patterns as a foundation for designs, to learn specific sewing skills and investigate the process of design from imagination to actualized garments to wear. This teen class was right before the pandemic hit exactly 2 years ago and had to close down. Let’s pick this up and make our own wearables again. These experiences are coming very soon in the RISD summer programs.
