Ingredients
1/2 frozen banana
3/4 cup almond milk
1/2 cup chopped kale
1/4 cup non-fat Greek yogurt
1 tablespoon almond butter
1 serving protein powder
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
Instructions
Add all ingredients to a blender and pulse until combined and creamy. Add a few ice cubes if you prefer a thicker shake. Serve immediately.

Butternut squash is one of the favorite veggies to eat during fall season. Wondering how to cook butternut squash? Whether you like it stuffed, pureed, baked or roasted, your options are pretty limitless with the recipe that you can do with your butternut squash, especially when you want to surprise your love with a sumptuous dinner.
5-Ingredient Butternut Squash Fritters
Ingredients
5 cups butternut squash, shredded
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon fresh sage, minced
2/3 cup flour (we used white whole wheat)
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea salt, more or less to taste
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded butternut squash, eggs, minced sage, salt and pepper. Fold in flour and add more if needed in order to hold fritters together.
Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat, and heat until the oil sizzles when a drop of water is added. Drop 1/4 cup of the mixture at a time, making sure to keep the fritters at least 1-inch apart.
Cook about 2 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
When cooked, transfer them to a paper towel to absorb the excess oil. Repeat the procedure with the remaining mixture.

So I decided to lose some weight this year and the keto diet has been working out pretty good for me so far.
I wanted to find some good keto recipes for the Philips air fryer I bought recently.
It took me a while but I was able to find a whole bunch of free recipes online and the zesty chicken nuggets is the first one I tried, nothing special, but pretty good.
Here’s the recipe:
Servings 4 Prep. Time|25 minutes
Cook Time|12 to 15 minutes

Nuggets:
24 ounces chicken thighs, boneless
1 egg (large)
Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 Hass avocado (medium)
1/2 teaspoon flakes red chili
1 tablespoon lime juice
1/4 teaspoon powdered garlic 1/8 teaspoon cumin
Crust:
1 1/2 ounces pork rinds
1 lime, zest only
1/4 cup almond meal
1/4 cup flax meal
1/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/8 teaspoon powdered garlic
1/8 teaspoon powdered onion
1. Pat the chicken dry using paper towels and slice into bite-sized chunks. Put all of the crust ingredients in your food processor and pulse till mixed. Transfer to a dish (shallow). Whisk the egg in another dish (shallow). Dip the chicken in the egg, letting excess drip off. Coat with the crust and transfer to the greased fryer basket. 3. Air fry for 12 to 15 minutes at 370F or till the nuggets is cooked through, shaking the basket often to cook evenly. To make the sauce, just mix all the ingredients till smooth. .

Easy Chicken Shawarma
INGREDIENTS
3/4 tbsp ground cumin
3/4 tbsp turmeric powder
3/4 tbsp ground coriander
3/4 tbsp garlic powder
3/4 tbsp paprika
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, more if you prefer
Salt
8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 large lemon, juice of
1/3 cup Private Reserve extra virgin olive oil
To Serve
6 pita pockets
Tahini sauce or Greek Tzatziki sauce
Baby arugula
3-ingredient Mediterranean Salad
Pickles or kalmata olives (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
*If you have time, marinate the chicken for 3 hours or overnight. Otherwise, you can skip the marinating time as indicated in the instructions below.
In a small bowl, mix the cumin, turmeric, coriander, garlic powder, sweet paprika and cloves. Set aside the shawarma spice mix for now.
Pat the chicken thighs dry and season with salt on both sides, then thinly slice into small bite-sized pieces.
Place the chicken in a large bowl. Add the shwarma spices and toss to coat. Add the onions, lemon juice and olive oil. Toss everything together again. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight (if you don’t have time, you can cut or skip marinating time)
When ready, preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Take the chicken out of the fridge and let it sit in room temperature for a few minutes.
Spread the marinated chicken with the onions in one layer on a large lightly-oiled baking sheet pan. Roast for 30 minutes in the 425 degrees F heated-oven. For a more browned, crispier chicken, move the pan to the top rack and broil very briefly (watch carefully). Remove from the oven.
While the chicken is roasting, prepare the pita pockets. Make tahini sauce according to this recipe or Tztaziki sauce according to this recipe. Make 3-ingredient Mediterranean salad according to this recipe. Set aside.
To serve, open pita pockets up. Spread a little tahini sauce or Tzatziki sauce, add chicken shawarma, arugula, Mediterranean salad and pickles or olives, if you like. Serve immediately!

😍Vanilla Ice Cream with Cherry Syrup.😍
Ingredients
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into chunks
1/3 cup sugar
1 pound fresh cherries, pitted
1/4 cup cherry juice
1 cinnamon stick, broken in half
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon freshly-grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons apple juice
Vanilla or chocolate ice cream or other frozen dessert
Preparation
Melt butter in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat; add sugar. Cook about 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until the mixture just begins to brown around edges. Add cherry juice and cinnamon stick pieces. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until mixture is reduced by half. Add cherries, vanilla and lemon zest. Bring mixture to a boil; stir in apple juice and reduce to syrup consistency. For each serving, spoon generous 2 tablespoons of warm cherries and sauce over ice cream.
Substitute one 15-ounce can dark, sweet cherries, drained, with juice reserved for the fresh cherries and cherry juice, if you prefer.
Serving Suggestion
The traditional presentation for Cherries Jubilee is to use brandy instead of apple juice, and then flame (or flambé) the sauce with a long match or brulée torch. The sauce is also delicious on pound cake or angel food cake.
