The time has come. The kids are back at school. Earn yourself a semester’s worth of brownie points with a trip to Providence (and an excellent excuse for a couple of nights in a plush hotel bed). Nestled in the heart of downtown, Neptune is just a 15-minute walk from College Hill, and close to all the best restaurants, including our very own Mémères.

Neptune. Housing sailors and strays since 1912.

Previous lives include: a church house, a lodgehouse for working men, a sports bar, a chicken shop, an inn, a nightclub, a house of ill repute.

Reincarnated as a boutique hotel called Neptune.

Neptune — the Roman god of the waters, feared and loved by mariners and adventurers, protector of all that dwells beneath the waves — a fitting patron for a haven in Rhode Island’s prosperous port city.
