The Sankofa Initiative is creating a unique urban agricultural community in Providence's West End. By developing nearly 30,000 square feet of community agricultural space, 50 units of healthy and affordable family housing and a lively and diverse Sankofa World Market, the Sankofa Initiative is creating new opportunities for economic development, good nutrition and a strong, healthy community that celebrates the cultural richness of the West End.
