Sunglasses are fitted with polarized lenses. Bent lamination construction is used to maximize the natural strength of the wood while preserving the material’s inherent beauty. Had fun today at the Brooklyn Flea Philly.

Spring hinges allow Arborglass frames to fit nearly any size face. This morning I am preparing 8 sets of temples (still rough) with hinges for assembly with frames.

After a series of 7 hand made jigs each pair of glasses needs a bit of hand work before installing hinges and temples, sanding and applying finish. Today was a perfect day to sit in the garden with a carving tool.

First coat of finish on 5 new frames and 5 new bracelets. 2012/13 styles are finally done!

This is not your ordinary pile of sticks. These are the temples for the new arborglass frames. Finished the jig today that will cut the slot for hinges.
Remaking a few jigs today.
