The Mission fills a critical gap in Rhode Island’s support system by being the only year-round, walk-in emergency shelter in the state.
Unlike many shelters that require referrals or only open during extreme weather, the Mission welcomes anyone in need, any day of the year.
That means immediate access to shelter, meals, clothing, and compassionate care for individuals and families facing homelessness, hunger, or crisis.
The need continues to grow. Weekly food distribution now supports an average of 3,000 families.
Every service is provided free of charge because everyone deserves dignity, safety, and hope.
