Providence Rescue Mission

This week, Providence Rescue Mission was blessed to welcome some wonderful students from San Miguel School! ❤️

These young Christians put their faith into action, giving their time and energy to serve our neighbors in need. They did a great job, and we are grateful for their hard work, kindness, and willing hearts.

There is something powerful about seeing young people understand that their hands can help, their kindness can encourage, and their love can bring hope to someone facing a difficult day.

You are never too young to make a difference. Every act of service plants a seed of hope—and this week, these students planted many.

Thank you for sharing God’s love through your actions. May you continue to grow in faith and compassion, carrying that same heart for others wherever life takes you. 🙏

“Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers.” — 1 Timothy 4:12

When difficult weather keeps many people indoors, we are especially grateful for those who continue to show up for Providence Rescue Mission. To everyone who supports the Mission, prepares and serves meals, and comes to lead chapel services: thank you. Your kindness makes a difference every day.

Because of you, people experiencing homelessness can find a hot meal and a safe place to stay. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and help single mothers, older adults, and families access food. Our rehabilitation programs also offer support to men and women working toward a new beginning.

Thank you for standing with our neighbors and helping us keep the doors open. ❤️

Today was a beautiful reminder of what community is all about! ❤️🙏

A very special THANK YOU to Joe Karam and the entire OPA Restaurant team for generously providing lunch today for our guests at Providence Rescue Mission. The food was absolutely delicious, and our guests truly enjoyed every meal! 🍽️❤️

Acts of kindness like this mean so much to the men and women we serve. It’s more than just providing a plate of food—it reminds people that they are seen, valued, loved, and not forgotten.

We are incredibly grateful for OPA Restaurant’s generosity and continued support of our mission and our community.

❤️ Serving Christ, Serving Our Community. 🤩🤩🤩

Everything donated to the Providence Rescue Mission is ALWAYS given away completely FREE OF CHARGE to those in need.

Clothing, shoes, toiletries, hygiene products, and other necessities are freely shared with our neighbors. This is one of the ways the Mission meets practical needs while showing the love of Christ through compassion and care.

I needed clothes and you clothed me…Then the righteous will answer him, Lord, when did we see needing clothes and clothe you?…The King will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.💖
Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭36,38,40

How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!” So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of I’m all done Christ. Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭14‬-15,17‬

Hope starts with a meal. ❤️

A warm meal can bring comfort, dignity, encouragement, and hope.

We are so thankful to everyone who comes alongside us to serve the meal lovingly prepared by our Mission cook. Your willing hands and servant hearts are such a blessing to our guests and to us.

Thank you for helping us share the love of Christ, one meal at a time! 🤗

A Safe Place. Every Night. 365 Days a Year.

When someone has nowhere else to go, the doors of Providence Rescue Mission are open.

24 hours a day. 7 days a week. 365 days a year.

Every evening, our guests are welcomed in from the streets and offered more than just a place to sleep.

They can sit down to a warm dinner.
Take a hot shower.
Receive clean clothing if they need it.
And rest for the night in a safe place.

All completely free of charge.

But beyond meeting these immediate needs, we want every person who walks through our doors to know something even greater: they are seen, they are valued, and there is hope.

This is what it means to serve our neighbors with the love of Christ.❤️
