Reentry Campus Program (RCP) helps current & formerly incarcerated people get a college education.
James Monteiro is the founder and director of the Reentry Campus Program. He works both within and outside the Adult Correction Institution of Rhode Island to ensure that currently and formerly incarcerated individuals have a pathway that is integrated into the support systems needed upon release. RCP attended ‘s first annual “Freedom Gala.” RIFC was co-founded by RCP’s Chief Operating Officer .The two organizations follow the same mission of advocating for incarcerated and formerly incarcerated people by offering access to education, resources and autonomy.
