Sometimes, all it takes is one person who believes in you.

For students impacted by parental incarceration, the future can feel uncertain. A mentor who shows up, a scholarship that opens doors, and a community that believes in their potential can make all the difference for a student.
At RISE, we see that transformation every day. Students who once wondered what their future would contain are graduating high school, pursuing higher education, learning skilled trades, and building bright futures.

But there are more students waiting for that same opportunity. Help us reach our goal of raising $35,000 by June 30 so we can continue providing scholarships, mentoring, and support to students across Rhode Island. Your gift doesn't just fund a program - it helps a young person go far.

๐ŸŒŸ Every child deserves the chance to dream beyond their circumstances. ๐ŸŒŸ

At RISE, we support students affected by parental incarceration through education, mentoring, and a caring community that believes in their future. This spring, weโ€™re working to raise $35,000 by June 30 to ensure our scholars continue receiving the tuition support, mentoring, and opportunities they deserve.

For many of our students, RISE is more than a scholarship - itโ€™s stability, encouragement, and someone who believes in them every step of the way. ๐Ÿ’™

Some people have a way of making everyone around them feel seen. Tim Oโ€™Neil was one of those people.

Today marks four years since we lost Tim O'Neil, a powerful presence in the RISE community. His kindness, generosity, and belief in the power of education continue to impact the lives of RISE students every day.

Through the Timothy M. Oโ€™Neil Scholarship Fund, his legacy lives on by helping students access education, mentoring, and opportunities to build brighter futures. This year, the first-ever recipient of the scholarship, Jaylen, will graduate from Bishop Hendricken and continue his journey at UMass Dartmouth this fall - a powerful reflection of everything Tim believed in.

We invite you to honor Tim by donating to the scholarship in his name and helping RISE invest in students like Jaylen, reminding them that they are seen, valued, and capable of achieving great things.โค๏ธ

Ainsley joined RISE to give back to her community - and found something even more meaningful: a connection that feels like family. ๐Ÿ’™

From ice skating adventures to everyday moments of laughter, Ainsley and her mentee have built a bond rooted in trust, kindness, and simply showing up. One moment that stood out? Watching her mentee help a younger child on the ice - without hesitation - reminding us all how powerful small acts of kindness can be.

For Ainsley, mentorship isnโ€™t about being perfect - itโ€™s about being present. And through that presence, sheโ€™s helping shape confidence, compassion, and joy in the next generation.

Thinking about becoming a mentor? Take Ainsleyโ€™s advice: just start - you never know the impact youโ€™ll have. Head to www.riseonline.org to learn more!
