Earlier this month our own Alan Wornham helped judge the next generation of HVAC technicians at the 41st Annual Skill & Leadership Competition held at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School.

Students were judged on Soldering and Brazing skills, HVAC thermostat and control wiring, hydronic parts identification, compressor mechanical testing, compressor winding determination, and oil heat diagnostics.

The gold medal went to Michelle Hull from Bay Path RVTHS (Regional Vocational Technical High School), silver going to Mitchell Blasko from Assabet Valley RVTHS, and third went to Blackstone Valley's own Kevin Kennedy.
