My feelings are a mess and I am still finding the words to grapple with the echoed feeling of losing another mother.

Anyways, here are some cute pictures I found on my phone:

1) An art piece I made for her, I think, the first year I was dating Alex. At this point I already felt loved and welcomed by her but there was no way I could have imagined how much she would feel like a mom to me after losing Elsa.

2) Tulip picking, Kathy was great at finding a beautiful places for all of us to go to

3) Silly mustaches during a sinterklaus poem exchange, because why not!

4) A trip to the PEZ museum, because we love a weird museum.

5) We often went sunflower picking, this time we were at a sunflower MAZE! (This was same day as the PEZ museum haha)

7) Alex and I had no idea how perfectly timed our wedding would be. I'm so glad we didn't procrastinate another year more.

Alex and I are married now 😘💖👽🛸 We had the tiniest silliest wedding at and we were having too much fun to take good pictures (jk, there are probably nicer pictures and videos which I'll share later! But these are the silly ones on my phone 😎)

We spent weeks and weeks on a plotline, puzzle workbook, challenge boards, Jellybean videos, and a whole alien language for our family to decypher. Our wedding cake was a tower of jello bowls and our toppers were Smiskis that I customized to match our wedding fits 💖 _us

It was the perfect way to celebrate the 13 years have spent together and I'm grateful to have such a partner who helps me be the truest me 🛸👽🛸

My mom's mom passed away. As always, grief is a big familiar bundle of feelings.

I haven't been posting because social media drains me.
But I've been having many joys and sorrows off screen, which I feel like is where they belong most.
Life keeps going.

Important PSA from Jellybean,

Uhhh, so I had two weeks left of my summer vacation before going back to work at NUA so .. uh ... I penciled 8 pages of comics every day (cept weekends).

I was motivated purely by the back-to-work deadline and a rewards battle pass Alex made me for every page I completed. Because I will do anything for little trinkets and candy and bubble tea.

The result was the 1st draft of a graphic novella that needs a lot of work still but at least the bones of it exist now??? Instead of just being in my brain?

Big thank you to 's drawing stronger book and it's cartoonist exercises because incorporating lots of strengtheners and stretches and breaks is definitely the only reason I go though drawing so much 😂 my wrist is only the tiniest bit tingly as opposed to the pain I usually get 👍🏽🌟🌟
