It's a great day to learn with friends! We are so happy to be at our annual RI Jump$tart Educator training, "Suitcase Optional – Unpacking RI Financial Education Requirements" at the beautiful NEIT campus.

In collaboration with the Council for Economic Education (CEE), Jump$tart is pleased to announce the release of the newly revised National Standards for Personal Financial Education.2021 National Standards

The new Standards represent Jump$tart’s and CEE’s shared vision of a single, unified set of standards that will guide educators, curriculum writers, policymakers, and other financial education stakeholders across the country to promote effective, comprehensive financial education for K-12 students.

The new Standards reflect the evolution of financial services, current approaches to financial education, and a more intentional inclusiveness of all users.

We're thrilled to announce the winners of the 2021 RI Econ Challenge!

East Greenwich High School won first place in the RI Econ Challenge Adam Smith division. Team EG2 (teacher Timothy McPartlin) will go on to represent our state in the Adam Smith division of the National Semi-Finals in May.

Johnston High School won first place in the RI Econ Challenge David Ricardo division, Team FL Level 2 (teacher Debra Smyth) will go on to represent our state in the David Ricardo division of National Semi-Finals in May.

Archie R. Cole Middle School won first place in the RI Econ Challenge Milton Friedman division. Team Cole 6 (teacher Ellise Wolff).

We're excited to announce the winners of the 2021 RI Personal Finance Challenge!

Congratulations to East Greenwich High School Team Avengers_Captain America (teacher Dr. Patricia Page) for winning 1st place in the RI state championship! East Greenwich High will be representing our state as they go on to compete in the Semi-Finals in May.

Tolman High School Team Tolman Tigers AZ 1 (teacher Robert D’Arezzo) is the 1st place RI winner in the Access Zone division, and they will go on represent our state in Access Zone division of the Semi-Nationals.

For the Invest in Girls division, 5 all-girl teams from RI will be advancing to the Semi-Nationals. EGHS teams Avengers_Captain America, Avengers-Valkyrie, and Avengers Rescue (teacher Dr. Patricia Page), and Woonsocket High School teams Adv 1 and Adv 3 (teacher Robert Gruetkze) will compete in the Invest in Girls division of the Semi-Nationals.
