Today weāre at Bom Cafe PVD, trying their fall menu šā
Bom serves up coffee, breakfast sandwiches, tea, refreshers, and locally-sourced baked goods, including this maple glazed donut.
I got a pumpkin cookie butter latteā¦ and O.M.G. Itās fall in a cup, in the perfect way. They also have a brown butter cinnamon roll latte, caramel apple chai, and pumpkin spice matcha.
Bom Cafe is bright, chic, welcoming, and the perfect spot to meet for brunch.

Thermia is a new Mediterranean-inspired rotisserie and bistro in Providenceās Olneyville neighborhood. āļø
Thermia Providence is known for their slow-roasted meats, but also serves homemade pastas, seafood, and tapa-style sharables. We especially loved the tomato toast with whipped ricotta to start! ā¤ļø
The atmosphere is dark, intimate, and artfully designed, with antique paintings, newspapers and wine bottles. Itās a perfect spot for date night, a drink, or hosting a private dinner in their back room.
Our one non-negotiableā¦ order dessert. š The sticky toffee pudding was incredible.

We have some difficult news to share about this Saturdayās WaterFire.
Due to the forecast for a significant norāeaster this weekend, the WaterFire full lighting on Saturday, September 26 is CANCELLED.
We didnāt make this call lightly. The safety of our guests, artists, vendors, volunteers, and staff comes first.
Weāre happy to share that a new full lighting has been scheduled for Saturday, October 24!

We are at Viva Mexico Cantina & Grill for an authentic taste of Mexico here in PVD. šš®
Viva Mexico just celebrated 15 years of business, and the same family ownership has a 40-year legacy here in Providence. The recipes come straight from Puebla, Mexico, having been passed down generations to the current owner, Jose. Viva Mexico now brings a modernized twist, alongside those unwavering classics, to authentic Mexican cuisine.
We tried the nachos, birria tacos, quesadillas, all the salsas and house-made sauces, and a strawberry tres leches cake for dessert.
Their downtown location and proximity to the Rhode Island Convention Center makes them a convenient spot for lunch, dinner, drinks, or a meeting.
