Recent Brown alumni, current graduate students awarded 28 Fulbright Scholarships In Fall 2022, 28 awardees of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program will begin teaching assignments or independent research projects in 16 countries across the world.

Three students win prestigious Goldwater scholarships for excellence in science Joseph Cavanagh, Thomas Usherwood and Hossam Zaki each received Goldwater scholarships, which support students who plan to pursue research careers in the sciences, mathematics and engineering.

For third year running, Brown is nation’s top Fulbright-producing university With 35 students and recent graduates awarded Fulbright scholarships for the 2018-19 academic year, Brown again topped the list of institutions that have produced the most winners.
I'm happy to report that Brown has 29 undergraduate and recent alumni Fulbright winners this year!!! Congratulations to this year's cohort!

Brown University junior Dorothy Jiang won a prestigious Truman Scholarship. Congratulations Dorothy!
Brown junior named Truman Scholar Dorothy Jiang, one of only 59 undergraduates nationwide to receive the prestigious public service scholarship, will use it to further her work as a community advocate and policymaker.

Brown for the second time in a row is the top-producing Fulbright institution for the US Student program. I'm so proud of our 33 undergraduates and recent alumni! We had 39 student winners in all including the 6 graduate students. Yeah Brown! This honor goes to our current group of Fulbrighters who are in their host countries now doing great work. Congratulations!
For second year running, Brown produces most Fulbright winners in the U.S. Thirty-nine Brown students and recent graduates earned the prestigious U.S. State Department grant to teach or conduct research abroad during the 2017-18 year.

Happy to share the news that Aasha Jackson '16 has won a prestigious Marshall scholarship and will be heading to the UK next fall! Go Aasha!
Class of 2015 graduate awarded prestigious Marshall Scholarship With the goal of improving health outcomes for underserved populations worldwide, Aasha Jackson will use the award to study at the University of Cambridge and the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
