This gal had her first official day back on set in months! I've done bits and pieces here and there, including guest appearances. However, yesterday was a long, hot day working those angles, poses, and wardrobe changes. None of this would be possible without the support of this guy; he's been behind me every step of the way, supporting not only my career but also me through all my chronic illnesses. It takes more than me to keep it all together, especially with a family. Yesterday, my heart was full of gratitude as two men who mean so much to me finally had the opportunity to meet, tell corny jokes in front of each other (and make me laugh), swap stories, and say 'ugh, it's hot out right, yea it's hot'. Michael Cole John Helmke, thank you both. Dad, you would have loved yesterday, it was hot, your kind of day.

During Disability Pride Month in July, we should ask ourselves what disability looks like and why it matters. Ableism refers to the discrimination against people with disabilities. It's important to recognize that disabilities go beyond physical limitations and include neurodivergence, severe immune deficiency, and mental health issues like PTSD. These invisible disabilities can lead to feelings of isolation and misunderstanding. Let's educate ourselves and lead with kindness and understanding.

A mother's responsibilities are never fully accomplished, particularly for a fairy godmother! I just want to take a minute to say the last few weeks have been very challenging in many ways. I have been battling my chronic health issues, flare ups, medication changes & intense reactions. Family will always come first as well as myself ❤️. Thank you to everyone who has supported me, understood me & found me still through this journey.
