PEDC Executive Director Madison Clark recently joined Town leaders and neighborhood representatives at Prosper’s quarterly HOA Presidents Meeting.

The meeting provided an opportunity for Prosper’s new department leaders to introduce themselves and connect directly with HOA presidents and board members representing neighborhoods throughout the community. Attendees also received updates on fall programming from the Prosper Community Library and learned more about the mission and work of the Prosper Education Foundation presented by PEF Executive Director, Dr. Carrie Williamson.

HOA leaders are important partners in keeping residents informed and connected. PEDC appreciates the opportunity to strengthen these relationships and share how our work supports Prosper’s long term economic vitality and quality of life.

This year marks 25 years since the events of September 11, 2001.

The Town of Prosper invites the community to join Prosper Fire Rescue for a special 9/11 Memorial Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 11 at 9 a.m. at Prosper Fire Rescue Central Station.

Together, we will remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call and ensure their legacy is never forgotten. As students head back to school, expect heavier traffic around Prosper campuses, especially during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.

Drivers traveling to Walnut Grove High School may experience additional congestion due to ongoing construction on Coit Road. Custer Road is also available as an option when traveling to and from the campus.

Drivers should also expect slower traffic around Reynolds Middle School due to ongoing construction on First Street.

Please plan for extra travel time, stay alert for students, crossing guards, and school buses, and follow posted traffic patterns.

The Prosper Economic Development Corporation (PEDC) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Madison Clark as its new Executive Director. Clark brings nearly 15 years of economic development experience to the role, most recently serving as Director of Business Retention & Workforce Development at the McKinney Economic Development Corporation.

Clark steps into the role as Prosper continues its rapid ascent as one of the most sought-after places to live and raise a family in the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Her appointment reflects the PEDC Board's commitment to thoughtful, intentional growth that builds on the community's momentum while preserving the qualities that make Prosper distinctive.
