California: MAGA TikTok creator with over 400k followers arrested for possession of child s*x abuse materials.

Detectives say a suspected possession of child s*xual abuse material (CSAM) in Madera County CA led to the identification of 34-year-old Joshua Lee Hefner as a suspect in the case.

Hefner was employed by the Madera Unified School District, working as a part-time cafeteria and playground assistant at Dixieland Elementary School at the time.

John Tyler Moreland, former director of students and families at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Monroe County, was charged with one count of criminal use of communication facility, one count of corruption of minors, 135 counts of photograph/film/depict of computer s*x act, 135 counts of unlawful contact with a minor and 6,770 charges of child s*xual abuse material, according to a 475-page document from Pennsylvania’s online courts portal.

A Cheek middle school teacher has been placed on leave after communicating directly with students on social media. Denton ISD

Two more teachers in the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District have been arrested separately for unrelated incidents. Both are now former teachers.

Haley Krista Radabaugh, an art teacher at Barbara Bush Middle School, was arrested Friday by the Denton Police Department and charged with child grooming, a third-degree felony.

Radabaugh was booked into the Denton County Jail on May 15 and released May 17 on a $25,000 bond.

James “Matt” Stevens, a special ed teacher at R.L. Turner High School, was charged with Public Intoxication at the school.

WACO — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is under fire for a plea deal his prosecutors offered last month to a Waco man charged with repeatedly s*xually abusing a young boy.

The deal in the case, which Paxton’s office took over about three years ago after the locally elected district attorney recused himself, would have let the man plead guilty to two misdemeanors and serve a total of just one day in jail.

Now Paxton, locked in a heated primary to be the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate, is facing criticism from political opponents who say his office was too lenient toward the man, who admitted that he molested the victim. This comes even as Paxton has built a reputation attacking local district attorneys for being too soft on crime.
