Charlie recorded his 14th runner thrown out trying to steal on him this season. That’s a big deal for catchers. His rating is 40% of those attempts ended in outs. That’s a big number even for his age. He had several big hits in the games. He got Player of the Game Saturday morning. Pitched the last three innings, no runners got on base, no walks, no hits, no runs allowed, three K’s. Three up Three down each inning. He doesn’t get to pitch much because he’s usually catching.
