Tonight I made three of my family’s absolute favorites…

🍅 Fresh Caprese Salad — juicy cherry tomatoes, creamy mozzarella balls, garden basil, finished with extra virgin olive oil, white balsamic vinegar, salt, black pepper and dried oregano

🍝 Burst Tomato Burrata Pasta — burst tomatoes, garlic, parmesan, fresh basil, and that melty burrata… honestly a dream on a summer table

🍌 Homemade Banana Pudding — silky, rich, and layered with all the nostalgic goodness we grew up loving

This is the kind of food that brings everyone to the table, slows life down for a moment, and reminds me why I love what I do so much 🥰

When I’m in the kitchen cooking for a client, my kids are always hovering nearby asking, “Are you making some for us too?” 💛

This birthday hits a little differently.

Just days ago, my daughter and I walked away from a car accident that could have ended our story very differently. And standing here now—able to celebrate 45 years of life, surrounded by love—feels nothing short of a gift.

Life is so fragile. So fleeting. And yet so incredibly beautiful.

Today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. Grateful to be alive. Grateful to be a mom. Grateful for every laugh, every hug, every ordinary moment we so often rush past. Grateful for family and friends who love us, pray for us, and remind us what truly matters.

45 isn’t about getting older—it’s about being here. Still standing. Still loving. Still growing. Still blessed beyond words.

Thank you, God, for another year. And thank you to everyone who makes this life so meaningful 🤍
