Authentically amber
Amber Anderson is caught somewhere in the middle. She’s both a stay-at-home-mom and a career woman of sorts.
Amber, a former marketing strategist, who still uses those skills to help grow her family’s business, is a full-time mom to 2 boys.
Sky Ranch Preview Day was such a gift.
We had a delicious lunch, Selah got to explore, and the boys had a blast hanging with the counselors and playing gaga ball while we toured, asked questions, and got a closer look at camp life.
If you’ve been curious about sending your kids to camp, they have another Preview Day coming up Thursday June 25th— and after experiencing it ourselves, I can honestly say it’s totally worth it.
Millennial moms, why are we like this?! 😂
How can that girl be 22 when she was born in the 2000s… when I’M still 22?! 🤣
We got to attend the first-ever Camp Preview Day at Sky Ranch this weekend, and it was such a fun peek at what they offer for families and campers. I’ve got all the details and can’t wait to share more with y’all!
Current soundtrack in our house: “I like to ride my bike” on repeat 😂
May is National Bike Month, and with Selah learning to ride, this sweet Peppa surprise from Hasbro could not have been more on theme. I love watching her light up over these tiny little confidence moments.
Don’t throw it away… but also don’t let it live in a random pile on your counter for the next 7 years. 😅
End-of-year school papers are tricky because some of them really are worth keeping — awards, class photos, certificates, little projects, special notes — but I also refuse to become the keeper of 900 loose papers.
So every year, I turn the back of their yearbook into a little memory pocket using sheet protectors and a glue runner. Everything stays with the year it belongs to, and future me doesn’t have to wonder where I put it.
A tiny Maycember win, but honestly? I’ll take it. 👏
Save this for when the backpacks come home full of “treasures.”
Day 500 in the month of May.
I’m so tired y’all, I have no fight left in me.
She asked this morning if she could pick her own shoes for school and I said, “okay.”
When these babies were pulled out of the drawer, I said, “Do you want to wear something a little more durable?”
Then I could sense the toddler fight and meltdown coming, so I said, “okay,” and went on about loading up the car.
This Maycember has taken all the life out of me, so whatever.
Is school out yet?
Older millennials, check in — apparently this is where I am now.
Am I the only one?! Because on the list of top 10 things that bring me joy these days, seeing deer absolutely makes the cut.
My husband says I turn into a giddy little kid every time they show up around the cabin, and honestly… he’s not wrong.
How did I get here? When did this happen? I’m not totally sure, but I do know one thing:
I like it over here. Please respect my wildlife-watching era. 🦌
