I need to tell you guys about this rabbit mid haircut. This was Will’s BOSB buck from convention. He got 2 more BOSB’s on Saturday at Wooster. He decided he’d had enough of that and grew a va**na Saturday night. Sunday he was a SHE! He was for sale. Was. I’m a little more patient on my does, and hard up for does, so Abe is now Abeliene and will be staying. She just needs to grow into her big girl shoes (I give my giants a full 2 years to make weight). And also, I like her butt.

Come visit us in building 9a! (Heads up, the rabbit barn and show is a separate entity during the Great Lakes Fiber Show so not all the volunteers know we are in there). I promise you we will be set up in building 9a!!

Well today has been a day for the boys!! Nick had junior champion Corriedale ewe and junior champion fleece and Will had junior champion white longwool ram (we missed the junior fleece class)! They will be in the Supreme drives tomorrow. My rams were sheared too late, but my ewes were 5th and 6th out of 19 yearlings and first place pair of ewes. After lunch we will show the black BFLs and end the day with Richards Scottie’s.

Little Nefeli is growing great! She has some mismarks on her back but this is William’s first F3 after losing his bottle lamb in the fall. She will be available in the fall after he shows her for the season, probably at or after the October PA valais show.
