Kentucky Open round 1 did not disappoint. Solid 1-under 71 in 56 minutes with 4 birdies. 5 back of leader . Special thanks to my fam who came out and cheered me on. It makes all the difference. Let’s see what a mid-60’s round can do for me tomorrow. Stand by.

Jim here just turned 77. His goal was to shoot his age this year. Didn’t take long, dad. Birdie #4 on the final hole today to shoot 75!! I shot 66 and still lost 2-down. So proud of you dad. Golf is amazing.

I’ve hosted over 100 guests on The Pace Of Change Podcast sharing the inspiring stories of (speed)golf’s game changers and difference makers. This is the first time I’ve shared my story in a public setting. Thank you Michael and Luke . I hope it inspires listeners to forge ahead through failure, ‘go for it’, and live a life beyond their wildest dreams.
The ‘Spirit or Speedgolf’ is real. I felt it the first time I played, the first time I attended an event, the first time I won a tournament. If you’ve played Speedgolf, or attended an event, or won a tournament, you’ve felt it too. The sport is amazing, but it’s the community you join when you play that really makes it special. Everyone’s invited!

Flawless scorecard. World record. Runner-up finish. Unforgettable weekend!
What a morning! 65 in 42:15. Still a blur. I love Speedgolf and the challenge of pushing the limits of human performance on the golf course. I hope rounds like this one and last month will help change the prevailing paradigm in golf about pace of play. The truth: Fast works just as good as slow. Maybe better. 😉 .wod
