It took us a year, but the Great Fox Swap has the happiest ending! 🦊❀️
Phoenix and β€œFinn” (whose real name is Foxy!) have finally been reunited with their rightful owners, and we couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone whose kindness and support helped bring this story to such a wonderful conclusion.
If you've loved following Finn's adventures at the library, don't worry... we've heard a rumor that Finn's cousin may be planning a visit soon. πŸ‘€πŸ¦Š

After 27 years of dedicated service at PHPL, our School Liaison, Alice, is retiring. She has left an unforgettable mark on the library and the community she has served with such care. Alice was recently awarded School District 23’s first ever Community Cornerstone Award. This is such a fitting way to honor 27 years of service as the bridge between Prospect Heights schools and the public library. Thank you for this recognition, District 23! Her last day at PHPL is Friday, June 5. If you wish to express your gratitude and say farewell, please be sure to stop by. Alice you will be missed and we wish you a happy retirement!
