Who is behind Wize and Well?
My name is Ivana, a lot of people know me as the owner of Lux Natures company which I started in 2011.
I'm 51 years old, have 19 years old twins, a son, and a daughter, and am owned by 12-year-old mini schnauzer Lucas.
Back in February of 2023, I decided to try to lose weight, even a lot of sources suggested it's almost impossible to do after menopause.
With a lot of trial and error, the weight started to shed off, now when I'm 42 lbs. lighter (as of October 1, 2023), feel much younger, healthier, and mobile, it's time to share information with all of you.
I don't sell any courses, I'm not a health coach, I'm simply a woman who wants to share what I learned and proved. My goal is achieved if it helps someone else to start a better lifestyle.

It’s never a good idea to start “cold turkey”. The tactic was similar to what I created when my son wrestler had to cut weight for school wrestling season. After careful inspection of all meals and snacks consumed during the day, I found weak spots, for example I used to eat whole bagel for breakfast, so the change was to eat half of a bagel (I cannot give up bread, I tried) and add two fried eggs to increase protein and not to get hungry too quick, I replaced mashed or fried potatoes with rice or quinoa or vegetables. Slow is good, let your body start adjusting. I used to drink a lot of soda, and in order to quit one of the sodas a day was replaced with water/ice, then two sodas, and in about two weeks I quit drinking soda all together, instead of eating bananas, eat pineapple, if you are a sweet lover and cannot give up candies/ice cream, try to replace it with dark chocolate. Comment here with what you usually eat during the day and together we find “weak spots” in your diet and figure out what can be a better option. Example of a better breakfast: 2-3 boiled or fried eggs (use avocado oil to fry), the toast of whole grain bread or half of the bagel with mashed avocado (half or whole peeled avocado mashed with a fork, sprinkle with salt and lemon juice). If you like coffee with cow milk or cream, try it with coconut milk. The point is to have enough protein (eggs), fiber (bread), and fat (avocado). Also, dark coffee is better than instant coffee. Don’t use sweeteners, it’s not a healthier option, we will talk later about how to block sweets cravings natural way. Try to make longer breaks between meals and snacks. That could be a good beginning before you make bigger changes in your diet. Make sure to record your weight before all changes and check it every morning before breakfast. Stay tuned for more.

The project includes easy home workouts with consideration that you haven't visited a gym in the last 20 years, healthy (healthier) food ideas (even your last carrot got lost in the fridge 6 months ago), affordable skincare ideas, and supplements to help the process of transformation.
One of my turning points was when I bought a new bralette, put it on, went to the mirror, and thought "You cannot make it look good in any new clothes". Let me know in the comments what was your turning point.
