What an awesome turnout at Open Club yesterday!

We had handlers and dogs join us from four different states, with a great mix of familiar faces and first-time visitors. It was a fantastic day filled with good training, good people, plenty of progress, and a lot of fun.

One of our favorite things about Open Club is the opportunity to open our doors to the working dog community, bring people together, share knowledge, and help teams continue moving toward their goals. We're grateful for everyone who took the time to come train with us.

A special thank you to Scott Sharfman from Akela K9 Working Dog Club for coming out and helping as our guest decoy. We appreciate your time, knowledge, and all the work you put into the dogs and handlers throughout the day.

We're fostering Piggy Bank, and he is looking for his forever home!

Piggy Bank may be little, but he's got a big future ahead of him. This handsome pup is learning all about life in a home and taking each new experience in stride.

Piggy Bank can be a bit shy when he first encounters new people, places, or experiences. He likes to take a moment to assess the situation before jumping in, preferring to observe and make sure everything is safe before fully engaging. Once he settles in, though, his sweet personality begins to shine. Every day he becomes a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more comfortable with the world around him.

One of Piggy Bank's favorite things is being around other dogs. He absolutely lights up when he has canine friends to play with and would love a home where he can continue building his confidence alongside another dog. Having a confident canine companion may help him continue coming out of his shell and exploring new experiences.

While he's still learning that people can be pretty great too, he's warming up more every day. He is becoming increasingly comfortable with pets, affection, and handling. He may initially be cautious with new people, but once he gets to know you, he enjoys attention and continues to seek out more interaction. He's also getting more comfortable being picked up and handled as he gains confidence.

Piggy Bank is a thoughtful puppy who likes to take things at his own pace. New environments can be a little overwhelming at first, but with patience and encouragement, he settles in nicely and starts to explore. Watching his confidence grow has been one of the most rewarding parts of getting to know him.

Piggy Bank has been doing an excellent job with crate training and rarely has accidents in his kennel. He's also doing very well with his house manners and potty training, though like any young puppy, he'll need continued guidance and consistency as he grows.

This little guy is eager to learn and loves having the opportunity to explore new things. With a patient family willing to continue showing him the world, Piggy Bank is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion. As he becomes more comfortable and confident, he would likely enjoy activities such as Fast CAT, scent work, and Barn Hunt, where he can use his natural curiosity, build confidence, and strengthen his bond with his family.

If you're looking for a sweet, thoughtful puppy who loves other dogs and is discovering how wonderful life can be, Piggy Bank may be your perfect match.

If you're looking for a puppy who brings fun wherever he goes, Snack Pack is your guy!

This happy little pup is full of personality and is quickly learning that the world is a pretty exciting place. While Snack Pack can be a little unsure when faced with something brand new, his curiosity usually wins out. He tends to warm up quickly and is often the first one ready to investigate, make a new friend, or join the fun. His confidence is still growing, but he approaches life with an adventurous spirit that helps him bounce back quickly.

Snack Pack absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine friends to play with and learn from. Whether he's romping around the yard, wrestling with a buddy, or exploring somewhere new, he's happiest when he has friends by his side.

He also enjoys being around people and warms up faster than many puppies his age. Once he knows you, Snack Pack loves attention and pets and will happily soak up affection. He's becoming more and more comfortable being picked up and handled as his confidence grows.

One of Snack Pack's favorite things in the world is food. He absolutely loves treats and is always excited to earn a snack, making him a fun and eager training partner. His food motivation and willingness to engage make him a puppy with lots of potential as he continues to learn.

Snack Pack is currently learning all the important puppy skills, including leash walking, house manners, and potty training. While he's had a few accidents in his kennel, he's working hard and has done very well in the house. With consistency, patience, and continued guidance, he's sure to keep making great progress.

As he continues to gain confidence, Snack Pack could be a fantastic candidate for fun dog sports and activities. He would likely enjoy things like Fast CAT, scent work, Barn Hunt, hiking adventures, or any activity that allows him to use his brain, build confidence, and spend time with his people.
