Fantastic 4th Grade

Tim Nolan came to 4th grade today to talk about electricity. He brought some models and provided some demonstrations. He also brought everyone a sample of his famous homemade ice cream!🍦

PPGS students got to experience the mobile lab from KDHE today. Students learned about viruses, viewed a leaf and pieces of apple under a microscope, learned about water sheds and extracted DNA from strawberries.

Tomorrow, we will be planting flowers at the central office and other places. We will also be spending the morning at PPGS/PPMS for a tour and meeting the 5th grade teachers.

Both 4th grades got to visit the public library this week. They were read a Dr. Seuss book and fixed themselves a Dr. Seuss snack made of a banana, strawberry, and a marshmallow.

USD311: USD 311 will start 2 hours late today, January 25. Buildings will open at 9:35am with classes starting at 10:00. Stay warm, Bulldogs!

We still need parent volunteers to hand things out on Tuesday at the movie party at the theater. If you are willing to help, please let me know! Thank you!
