Animal Chaplain, providing support for all beings, honor animals' lives, and heal human hearts.

06/18/2026

Behind every rescued animal, every veterinary visit, every foster home, every difficult goodbye, and every act of compassion is a person carrying emotions that often go unseen.

I support the human side of animal care.

Whether you're grieving a beloved companion, caring for an aging pet, working in veterinary medicine, volunteering at a shelter, fostering animals, or simply carrying the weight that comes with loving them deeply, you don't have to navigate it alone.

Some of the ways I support individuals, teams, and organizations include:
• Compassion fatigue and burnout workshops
• Staff and volunteer support circles
• Educational presentations and Lunch & Learns
• Wellness and resilience programs for animal care organizations
• Pet loss grief support
• Rituals, remembrance, and meaningful support through life's animal-related transitions

Because the people who care for animals deserve care, too. 💛🐾

One of my favorite parts of this work is sharing stories, insights, and supportive resources for people who love animals.

I've written articles for Prescott Dog Magazine, along with blog posts and reflections inspired by the animals who touch our lives and the people who cherish them. Learn more about me and how I can help you in the article there too!

These pieces explore grief, healing, compassion, resilience, and the profound relationships we share with our animal companions. Each one is rooted in a deep respect and love for the human-animal bond and the ways animals shape our hearts, lives, and communities.

If you're looking for a thoughtful, informative, or encouraging read, I invite you to visit my Media page and explore: https://www.paws4compassion.net/media

I'd love to hear from you! Leave a comment and let me know which article resonates with you—or what topics you'd like to learn more about in the future. 🩷

🐾💜 World Pet Memorial Day 💜🐾

Today, we honor the animals who changed our lives simply by being part of them.
Whether they shared our homes for a few short years or walked beside us for decades. They were our companions, confidants, comic relief, teachers, and family.

On World Pet Memorial Day, we remember not only the day we said goodbye, but also the countless moments that came before it—the walks, the greetings at the door, the quiet companionship, the adventures, the routines, and the unconditional love.

If you are missing an animal companion today, know that you are not alone. Their story continues through the lives they touched, the lessons they taught, and the love that remains.

💜 If you're struggling with the loss of a beloved animal companion, I invite you to join my monthly Pet Loss Grief Support Group. Together, we create a compassionate space to share memories, honor our animals, and find support among others who understand the depth of this loss. You don't have to walk this journey alone.

Who are you remembering doing?
