From the wilds of Ascension Parish, we bring you Mellifera. Our blonde ale, brewed with honey from just a few miles from the brewery. We partnered with Beetanner to marry his homegrown Tallow honey with a fairly standard blonde ale recipe to crush during these warm spring days in south Louisiana. This brew will pair perfectly with a crawfish boil or sitting out in the sun (when its not raining every day) with its light and crisp light body, beautiful golden color finishing with a hint of floral sweetness and a perfect 6.0% abv. Hello followers! I wanted to reach out to let everyone know that I am getting down to the last of the available Honey. Once sold out, I will not have honey until early July. Now is the time to stock up for the spring allergy season.
As much as I try to produce enough honey every year, the demand is exceeding what I can produce. I had a record honey harvest last year and am still selling out fast. I have been busy all winter building more bee hives for next year.
