Safari by water or safari by land? Southern Suitcases has gotten the best of both worlds so far! Started our morning with a safari adventure and ended our day with a peaceful river cruise. We capped off our day with a gorgeous sunset complete with bubbles, wine, & beer! From sunrise to sunset, the beautiful sights never stopped.

We cannot believe the day we have had. We woke up in Johannesburg this morning and ended the day in Botswana cruising down the Chobe River watching watching elephants walk along the riverbank. I don’t think it’s fully hit us yet how awesome that is.

Ending the day with a beautiful dinner outside in Africa, surrounded by nature’s magic and warm company. It’s truly beautiful and the perfect way to start off this incredible adventure. Travel is always better together! 🥰Day 1 was exceptional! 🐘🌅🥂🌍
