The SAVE Act is not an administrative fix; it is a targeted obstacle for female voters. While this is being framed as a solution to “voter fraud,” the data simply does not support that claim. In reality, these requirements disproportionately burden women—particularly those who have changed their names due to marriage or divorce—by creating unnecessary hurdles to exercise a fundamental right.

You won your previous elections under the current system. To suggest now that our elections are fundamentally compromised is a direct contradiction of your own career and the legitimacy of the laws passed during your tenure. If the system is rigged, your own victories are called into question.

Voter integrity is protected by making it easier for citizens to vote, not harder. I am asking you to stand for Ohio’s women and reject the SAVE Act. My support in the next election depends entirely on whether you choose to protect our access to the ballot or prioritize partisan optics over your constituents.
