✨ Senior Spotlight 2026 ✨
Our next Senior Spotlight shines on Daniela! We are so excited to celebrate her journey, recognize her accomplishments, and reflect on the many memories she has made as part of the PDA family.
Daniela has been dancing at Powell Dance Academy for 13 years and has grown into a dedicated, hardworking, and supportive teammate. One of her favorite PDA memories is waiting backstage with her teammates before competitions, sharing in the excitement and camaraderie before taking the stage together. Through dance, Daniela has gained invaluable life skills, including teamwork, discipline, confidence, and a strong work ethic. She credits dance with helping shape the person she is today and preparing her for the journey ahead.
Her advice to younger dancers is to enjoy every moment, avoid putting too much pressure on yourself, and remember that perfection looks different for everyone. Dance is about growth, learning, and making memories, so take the time to have fun and appreciate your years in the studio.
Daniela, thank you for the dedication, kindness, and positive energy you have brought to PDA throughout the years. It has been a joy to watch you grow both as a dancer and as a person. We are so proud of everything you have accomplished and cannot wait to see all that the future holds for you. Congratulations, and remember that your PDA family will always be cheering you on! ❤️

✨ Senior Spotlight 2026 ✨

Our first Senior Spotlight of the season shines on Caroline Oswald! We are so excited to celebrate her accomplishments, reflect on her journey at PDA, and recognize the incredible impact she has made on our studio family.

Caroline has been dancing for 15 years and has been a dedicated member of the Powell Dance Academy family. One of her favorite PDA memories is competing her trio alongside her closest friends, creating memories she will always cherish. Through dance, Caroline has learned the importance of confidence, perseverance, and maintaining a strong work ethic both in and out of the studio. Her advice to younger dancers is to always stay confident, believe in yourself, and trust the process.

This fall, Caroline will be attending Purdue University to study Psychological Sciences. We are so proud of all she has accomplished and cannot wait to see where this next chapter takes her.

Caroline, thank you for the joy, dedication, and positivity you have brought to our studio. Watching you grow into the remarkable young woman you are today has been a privilege, and you will always have a home at PDA. Congratulations on this exciting milestone—we are cheering you on every step of the way! 💛
