It's a beautiful day north of Columbus. My friend Jenny and I are set up and ready for art lovers!

While exploring Columbus one weekend, Mark and I wandered into this great pop up shop in the Hilltop area. The owners are wonderful and invited me to sell some of my art this holiday season. Stop in and meet Daryl and Barbara and enjoy some local art!

Some Staycation Creation Results 08/16/2016

Along with OSU pendants, magnets and coasters, I mad some Christmas plates and a candle display.

I'm having a staycation the next few days to get fully into glass creating mode. I cleaned 16 wine bottles and 5 jam jars last night to melt into trays or possibly wall vases (haven't tried this yet). Today I'm enjoying a new restaurant before taking a photography class to hopefully learn tips to photograph the glass creations. 🎨😃

Now that Glass Half Full is located in Columbus, Ohio and the artist's full time job (that helps pay for her art supplies) is at OSU, it's time to get ready for football season! (Obviously these are pendants, but I see coasters joining this line)
O-H!

It's been a slow start getting an art routine going, but it's coming along! I've enjoyed some creations. Here are some of the before; stay tuned for the after.

Cam (the kiln) is all moved into his new home in Columbus, Ohio. He doesn't have a basement so he is staying in our garage and had his first run yesterday. An easy first go, but successful. 😜

My art glass and tools are all packed waiting for our move to Columbus. In the interim Cam the Kiln is melting bottles! The Kahula bottle is kinda cool. Sadly the fantastic red bottle turned out to be a well disguised fake. The color will burn off in the kiln as the color is painted on clear glass.
