Comfortable. Familiar. At “home”.

“Where?” is one of the first questions we answer when setting up a photo session with a client. Desiring a memorable, familiar spot is reasonable. That perfect spot: the place a million memories were made, at Mom & Dad/Grandma & Grandpa’s house.

Her favorite spot become our favorite spot for a family photo shoot. A picture they can enjoy all year round, holiday or not!

Simple beauty. Sisterly love. Stop the busyness, for just a short bit.

Teenagers live in a complex world these days. So taking them out of the complexity and simplifying it brings out their real beauty. Even got these sweet sisters to hold hands.

You will look back on this moment and wonder how it went by so fast.

Fall session!

One of my closest friends of 22 years asked me to take her family photo this year. Easy peasy. She had a great location spot in mind, while i managed to find the perfect setting for lighting, accessibility, and overall composition.

Only “5 photos needed” she said. After 35 min, I snapped 125. “Perfect” pictures look like removing photos with closed eyes, eyes looking the wrong direction, hair out of place, lighting issues, etc. This resulted in 16 outstanding images helping them tell their outstanding family story.

As the logo designer, a founding member, gardening/flower lover, and green thumb champion, I am joining 10 members of the newly formed UA Garden Club (UAGC).

This club has been in the works for a while. We have many exciting adventures in our future :) While we soft launch in a few weeks; be on the lookout for more exciting posts.

After completing a elaborate study of many gardening club logos across the US, we decided modern.

Thanksgiving Week Wrap-up.

Grateful for time with this sweet family. Dusting off the camera lens was well worth the effort!

Rain or shine. The family photo session HAD to happen. So we DID.
