Core Strong Physical Therapy
Revolutionizing Pelvic Health! We help you learn to understand HOW your body works and make it work for you!
We want to empower people to get back to the lives they want to live without being limited by pain, weakness, leakage, prolapse and more!
What if improving your pelvic floor didn't start with doing more—but with noticing more?
Many people are told to jump straight into strengthening exercises, but lasting pelvic floor health begins with awareness. Your pelvic floor works closely with your nervous system, breathing muscles, and core. If your body is constantly holding tension or living in "go mode," it can be difficult for these systems to work together effectively.
This week, challenge yourself to spend just one minute checking in with your body. Notice your breath. Notice where you're holding tension. No judgment—just curiosity.
Those small moments of awareness can become the foundation for better movement, less pain, improved bladder and bowel control, and greater confidence in your body.
If you're ready to take the next step, we're here to help. Our one-on-one pelvic floor physical therapy sessions help you reconnect with your body and build a foundation for lifelong health.

As we close out Pelvic Floor Diagnosis Awareness Month at CSPT, we're bringing awareness to a topic that affects both men and women but is rarely talked about openly.
Pain with intimacy (dyspareunia), vaginismus, erectile dysfunction (ED), painful ej*******on, and chronic pelvic pain syndrome can impact confidence, relationships, and quality of life. Yet many people are left feeling embarrassed, isolated, or told that their symptoms are simply something they have to live with.
Here's what we want you to know:
✔ Symptoms are real.
✔ Pain is never normal.
✔ You are not alone.
This is not something to just “get used to” because you’re aging or have kids. Understanding the many factors that influence pelvic health can help make sense of what you're experiencing and open the door to meaningful solutions.
📍 Proudly serving the Powel, OH area and surrounding communities.

June Spotlight - Bulletproofing your Relationship BEFORE Baby Arrives with Chelsea Skaggs at Postpartum Together
I am so excited to share this conversation that I had with Chelsea Skaggs at Postpartum Together! Chelsea shares with us the importance of building a strong, team focused relationship with your partner before baby arrives in order to stay united against the challenges of parenthood instead of turning on each other.
Chelsea and her husband are hosting a 6-week group course to help pregnant people and their partners learn what is important to them, what kind of a family environment they want to have and how they can begin supportive communication now so that they don’t feel like they are thrown into the deep end without a life vest.
If you’re a pregnant person who doesn’t want everything to fall to you or if your a partner who is unsure how to navigate these changes and doesn’t want to feel like a 3rd wheel in your own family, reach out to Postpartum Together to help you bulletproof your relationship before adding more members to the mix!
June is Pelvic Floor Diagnosis Awareness Month here at CSPT and this week we're bringing awareness to one of the most misunderstood pelvic health conditions: interstitial cystitis (IC), also known as painful bladder syndrome.
If you've experienced bladder pain, urgency, or frequent urination and have been told that your tests are normal, you're not alone.
For many people, the path to an IC diagnosis involves months or years of searching for answers. That's because IC is complex and often involves much more than the bladder itself (Did you know only 10%-25% of people with IC have lesions inside the bladder?). The pelvic floor, nervous system, bowel health, stress, sleep, and lifestyle factors can all influence symptoms.
And while medications and lifestyle changes can help, pelvic floor therapy is the only intervention that has been designated by the American Urological Association as a first-line intervention with a Grade A evidence rating for the treatment of IC.
Your symptoms are real. You’re not crazy. And understanding the whole picture can help make sense of what you're experiencing and open the door to new possibilities.

June is Pelvic Floor Diagnosis Awareness Month here at CSPT, and we're bringing awareness to one of the most common conditions we see in the clinic: urinary incontinence.
Have you started planning your life around the bathroom?
Maybe you've stopped jumping on the trampoline with your kids.
Maybe you know where every restroom is when you travel. Or perhaps you wear a pad "just in case" and have quietly accepted bladder leaks as part of getting older, having children, or being active.
Here's what we want you to know:
You are not alone, and you do not have to simply live with these symptoms.
At Core Strong Physical Therapy, we look beyond the bladder to understand the many factors that can influence urinary urgency and leakage. Through individualized, whole-person care, many people regain confidence and return to the activities they love most.

Many people are told that pelvic organ prolapse is just something they have to live with or have surgery. The reality? There are effective, conservative treatment options that can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
If you're experiencing pelvic pressure, heaviness, bulging, bladder leakage, or difficulty with bowel movements, a pelvic floor therapy evaluation can help identify contributing factors and create a plan that fits your goals.

Traveling soon and wondering how to support your pelvic floor while you’re away? ✈️🚗
The goal isn’t to bring everything—it’s to bring what actually helps your body.
For many of our patients, a few simple tools can go a long way: a pelvic wand (when prescribed and guided by your PT), a tennis ball or massage tool for tight glutes and hips, and appropriate toileting positioning to support easier, more comfortable bowel movements.
Travel can disrupt your routine—but it doesn’t have to lead to symptom flare-ups.
A little preparation can help you feel more in control and at ease in your body while you’re on the go.
📍If you’re in the Powell or Columbus, Ohio area and want a personalized plan before your next trip, we’re here to help.
