What’s up Westgate Youth?! We hope you guys had an awesome Thanksgiving yesterday either with friends, family, loved ones, or all three!

Here is your Youth Night recap:

Sunday night we talked about John 6:15-21! In times when we feel like we aren’t hearing from God or as if God has left us, like the disciples experiencing the storm in the sea, we can count on the promises of God. We can always fix our eyes back on Jesus who will MEET US WHERE WE ARE! There is no storm too big for Him to meet you in. Jesus tells us “It is I AM. Don’t be afraid.” The storm may not end immediately, but Jesus is our peace, rock, and Savior in the middle of it.

Isaiah 40:31– But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Tell us how thankful you are that Jesus meets us where we are & does not leave us there!

Midweek Encouragement

On Sunday we will be continuing with John 6:15-21. This verse in particular is hope for a weary heart. Jesus is ALWAYS with us. When our hearts & minds are filled with chaos and confusion, or when we feel we are drowning in a sea of circumstances that surround us, Jesus’ power is made perfect in our weakness. He does not want us to be afraid of the surrounding storm. Choose to rest in Him. He is your help, & the one who sustains you!

This Saturday we are having a WESTGATE YOUTH BONFIRE from 6-9pm!!! It’s our first in person event, so make sure to be there! Sign up sheets and information is in the bio and posts!!

Zoom nights for girls and guys on Tuesdays and Thursdays will proceed as normal this week.

Zoom calls will be moved to SUNDAY NIGHTS starting THIS SUNDAY with specific times and details to come!! It will be combined girls and guys and we are SO EXCITED.

This weekend is going to be FILLED with so much opportunity for fellowship & community. We can’t wait!! 💛
