One of the privileges I get to create is memorial portraits of a family’s furry friend. A friend asked if I would do a charcoal sketch of these two little guys. I pray they always bring sweet memories for these families.

Preorders are now open for the 2026 Christmas season. These are all paper mache so they are large, 3.5”, but light as air. Each is designed and hand-painted by 707 Mercer Designs, aka Lisa Nix. We would love to create some to hang on your tree.
Where have I been? What have I been doing? Well….. I have made some new friends and we have been spending a lot of time together. I can’t wait for you to meet them!

I don’t remember having magnolia blooms this late into the summer and I am loving it! Each morning while I have my coffee I get the sweet fresh fragrance of the bloom that makes me appreciate each one. May your day have a sweet fragrance!
I am so grateful to my previous school always being so supportive of my retirement adventure. Thank you GRACEPOINT School for including me in Back to School fun and festivities!
Social media is an odd fellow! Who could have imagined that someone on social media that you do not know other than a few dms and watching videos would inspire a children’s book.
