McDowell Mud -- I contacted Polk County a couple of weeks ago about the mud collecting at the Mc Dowell SCT crossing (just west of Coots Lake). I am pleased to report that they responded as promised. Remediation of the problem source still needs to be addressed, but the immediate problem has been addressed.

this is a video shoot for the Dekalb County tourism office.
The videographer has a PhantonFlex 4K 1000fps video camera to shoot a scene for a Dekalb County tourism video. He would like a group of cyclists to ride along the path with Vaughters Farm in the background. He would drive along Klondike Rd and shoot the video from a vehicle.
Anyway His deadline to shoot the scene is Monday so if you can make it please do.

We need riders to support the effort to build awareness about the huge amount of work done over the last several years.
This will also provide a channel to report problems, prioritize work target projects, and share ideas to accomplish these tasks.

That will help pay for the rental of a small tractor to clear debris, rock, slumped soil from the trail margins within Paulding.
