As we continue reliving the excitement of our sold-out season finale on May 31, we're sharing a few more photos from this unforgettable afternoon of music, community and celebration.

The celebration didn't end with the final note!

Following our sold-out performance of "An American Celebration," concertgoers gathered for a lively reception filled with great conversation, delicious hot appetizers, complimentary wine, beer and soft drinks—and plenty of birthday cake!

In honor of America's 250th birthday, guests enjoyed a sweet finale to an unforgettable afternoon of music and celebration. Judging by the smiles, laughter and full cake plates, everyone had a wonderful time celebrating together.

Thank you to all who joined us for this special concert and helped make our season finale such a memorable occasion. Here's to music, community, and 250 years of America! 🎂🎶

What a way to close the season!

A sold-out audience joined us for "An American Celebration" on May 31, and the energy in the hall was unforgettable.

From Aaron Copland's stirring Fanfare for the Common Man to selections from West Side Story and Porgy & Bess, Joplin rags and iconic works from Charles Ives… every piece was met with enthusiastic applause.

The highlight was guest pianist Dan Yu's spectacular performance of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, which brought the audience to its feet.

The grand finale, Stars and Stripes Forever, created a truly memorable moment as audience members waved American flags, rose to their feet, and joined in the celebration while a giant American flag descended from above the stage.

Thank you to everyone who filled the hall and helped make this season finale such a remarkable celebration of American music and community!🎶

Our final rehearsal for An American Celebration is in the books, and the Poway Symphony Orchestra is ready for an unforgettable afternoon of music tomorrow, May 31.

From Copland and Bernstein to Gershwin's iconic Rhapsody in Blue featuring guest pianist Dan Yu, this season finale is going to knock it out of the ballpark!

Tickets are SOLD OUT, and we look forward to welcoming everyone who was lucky enough to secure a seat for this special concert at the Poway Center for the Performing Arts.
