Here at Tooth Rock Periodontics we aim to educate, we hosted our second Tooth Rock Study Club of the year last night, where Dr. Raz presented on the Biological and Restorative Considerations in Periodontal and Implant Surgery.

It’s a wonderful day when we witness brother and sister collaborating as a team. Dr. Galya Raz and Dr. Ori Raz are joining forces to deliver the best possible care to our patients!

Today, our esteemed Dr. Raz visited Southwestern College Dental Hygiene Program to deliver an afternoon lecture on periodontal and implant surgery.

She said that these students are incredibly enthusiastic and are going to be great RDH’s!

Today we want to shout Happy Birthday to our very own Shelly! We all wish you so much happiness and love on this special day!

It’s always a beautiful day to send off an amazing Dental Assistant to her next chapter at Dental School! We have had the absolute pleasure of watching Megan grow over the last three years, your Tooth Rock Periodontics family is so excited for you! Thank you for all you have done we can’t wait to call you Dr. Megan!

We would like to introduce the community to our Lead Dental Assistant, Kiran. Kiran is our resident MacGyver; we have not come across something she can’t fix or cook. I would say our office favorite is her veggie fritters, you simply can’t have just one. Kiran is a committed member of our team who brings so much knowledge and care to our patients and staff. She spends her free time hosting her many family members from all over the world, creating beautiful jewelry, or making crochet pieces for her loved ones.

“Here at Tooth Rock Periodontics, we sincerely enjoy what we do, and Dr. Steinberg is a prime example of this. Dr. Steinberg is a San Diego Native who is eager to educate and improve our patients’ oral health.

He completed his dental education at the UCLA School of Dentistry where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. During his residency, he performed research on the stability of dental implant designs and implementation of the periodontal disease classification. After earning his certificate in Periodontics and Implant Surgery, he has continued his relationship with UCLA by serving as Course Director for the current literature review with periodontics residents.

And just to keep a nice work-life balance Dr. Steinberg is a big sports fan. He enjoys watching and playing sports, including basketball and tennis. He met his wife, Charlotte, during dental school and they enjoy hikes, travel, and spending time with their nieces.”
